Sponsorships

SunCable is committed to building regional partnerships, providing local benefits, and investing in the communities where we work. Our funding criteria aims to support community-led activities that bring people together, keep art and culture strong, protect Country, promote renewable energy access and education, and strengthen health and wellbeing.

In 2024, SunCable's NT Community Sponsorship Program invested in community-led initiatives across the AAPowerlink footprint. SunCable worked with 11 regional partners to support initiatives in communities spanning the Barkly (covering Tennant Creek to Elliott and surrounds), Big Rivers (covering Katherine and surrounds), and Greater Darwin (covering Darwin, Palmerston, Darwin Rural Area and surrounds).

Applications are assessed by a committee in quarterly rounds. The funding rounds close at the end of March, June, September and December. Applicants will be advised approximately two weeks after the round has closed if their application has been successful.
